Said Burke “Superstition is the religion of the feeble minds”. It leads men to form false ideas of beauty. Even in civilized countries today, superstition produces narrow mindedness, madness and sufferings. Superstitious are many and they vary with nations and localities in kind and degree, An English villager would associate good luck with black cats, horse shoes and finding of a pin or shell.
